We begin our day with time for self-directed exploration, choosing from a variety of centers, such as home living, art, blocks, puzzles, etc.
Circle time is a time for introducing themes for units, learning new concepts, hearing Bible stories, learning Bible verses, and listening to each other.
During activity time we explore concepts and learn to follow instructions through a variety of activities, games and crafts.
Indoor and outdoor play time gives the children an opportunity to use their large muscles in climbing, running, swinging and playing.
Snack time provides a nourishing break in the morning.
Each class has a few minutes of quiet activity that may include hearing a story, looking at books or playing a quiet game.
Each class has music and chapel each week.
Dismissal time is important as it allows each child to gather his/her own belongings, put them in the backpack, put on his/her coat, get everything buttoned, zipped and fastened and get out the door to greet you.
